I too have noticed a couple odd threads over the last little while. I must admit I deliberately mislead one poster to point in one direction vs another. I guess that’s considering feeding...but in a good way.

    That place east of Waco....
That's a good example of the OP's concern. Maybe we should take action on that.....

The mods do a pretty good job of maintaining some sort of order on here, and I applaud them for the effort.

I can't believe someone is giving me grief for not staying logged in to help him find posts. I wouldn't post about a specific problem post - I'd either address the OP myself or, if it was really out-of-bounds, report it to the mods.

One of the ways trolls get embedded in a forum is by posting things that encourage people to respond. "I don't know anything about guns, can you help me?" is a typical kind of start. If they started out with "I hate guns", the mods would shut them down instantly. Yes, there are legit OPs that ask dumb questions. I'm just saying that if something starts looking phoney, just walk away and let them get bored and (hopefully) go somewhere else. I've seen some of these jokers bragging on other media about how they stirred up crap on "those Neanderthals that cling to their guns and Bibles."

But I have to address the WORST comment: No, dammit, you never add BEANS!

I dont know about trolls, but threads like "what gun did you buy today" "post your shtf plan" "how much food reserves do you have" etc. All make me nervous

They should make any sane person nervous. Some of these people they live for a SHTF event. They think about it to the point of that they are obsessed with it. They are not playing with a full deck.

Some years ago, a member on another forum went into detail about how he would resort to cannabilism to survive. Scary.
