I was watching a video the other day and the commentator pronounced "Bexar" as "becks-ar".

What would he do with a hard one like "Kuykendahl" or "Gruene".

Always reminds me of the joke about the couple that was traveling through East Texas and they stopped in Nacogdoches to get something to eat. When the waitress brought the food, the lady asked her, "How do you pronounce the name of this place? Say it slowly, please." The waitress answered, "It's pronounced "Day-eerie Queen".

You can probably do this with most states. For instance: In Washington state there is a town called Sequim that many get wrong. It's pronounced as Skwim.
