    Howdy folks,

Wanted to post up some early results on the CI Raptor high-velocity 22LR. In my 10/22 and a borrowed CZ-452...

Average 10-shot group at 50 yards is ~2.5 MOA (1.25")
Average 10-shot group at 100 yards is ~3 MOA (3")
Failure to Fire ~2% (did fire on a second or third try)

I discovered a few anomalies and/or mistakes in my testing today so I need a second range session to sort that out before doing the full write-up.

    Stay tuned!

Are those sea anomalies? Aren't they a protected species? I'd be very careful conducting any tests on THEM!

So, what were the best and worst groups you got during this test?

Also, is your CI ammo dirty to the touch? Mine is covered in what I think is some kind of wax, left my fingers gray after loading a few mags for tomorrow.

Now, now... You'll just have to be patient and wait for the full report.

No, not really, but then again I'm used to the slimy lube on the SK and Norma TAC ammo.

This is the free ammo from the now gone vendor correct?
You are correct. Pass "Go" but do not collect your $200.

Ack! I'm in data overload. So many options... what to put in, what to leave out; what's relevant, what's not.

I need to get some pictures of the boxes and bullets, then I think I'll have all the parts and pieces I need to put everything together.

For now I'll leave you guys with a little teaser of one of the targets...

My review is just about done and the website is ready to go. Waiting for final review and any last-minute changes but should have it posted no later than Friday.

Please elaborate on CI Raptor -- Who makes it, Who sells it, bullet weight and composition, muzzle velocity from a "standard" barrel, etc.

    Be well.

Good review. Don't know if it's my phone, but some pics overlaped the text. Still got what I needed though.
For the price, I'll stick with what I have.
Thanks for the review. He can't fault you for that.

All of that is stated in the write-up...

"Raptor is a relatively new offering of 22LR made by CI of Mexico and imported by Raptor Manufacturing."
    "
The business that provided the Raptor for this test, Munire USA, sells Raptor for $4.73..."
"...all 40-grain round nose, copper washed, and high velocity."
" The Raptor box states “Super Fast - 1190 fps”."

Yeah, I'm not a web page designer so I would have no idea how to make it "phone friendly".

    Thanks, though.
