Also, don’t forget there was supposed to be a “local” cop/sniper on the roof that Crooks was on, but “too hot” for him.

Thus, reasonable that the USSS C/S did not shoot at first sight, given fubar comms.

Do you have any evidence that someone saw him and had a clear shot prior to him firing? Any evidence that someone intentionally waited until the shooter fired before returning fire in order to give him a chance to hit Trump?

    I already know the answer.
the cs teams had shifted focus to the shooter well before the first shot was fired. even if the issue was being able to get a good shot(it wasn’t) trump still should have been moved off stage before the first shot was fired(he wasn’t).

I'm a bit suspect of that narrative. Was it any hotter there than where the other sniper teams were at? Locals took it upon themselves to leave? Did that narrative come from those that were supposed to be there? Why weren't the USSS, or at least a rep from them not at the LE meeting that morning? That's what I want to know.

If the CS snipers were scanning their guns for a threat, he should have been off the stage. I agree.

So you have evidence that no one else has seen that the counter sniper teams could see and had a shot at the shooter before he fired?

Or is this just head canon?

The narrative that they saw him on the roof but couldn’t/wouldn’t shoot has already been debunked.

    No, it absolutely wasn’t.

    So, head canon then.

Or do you have evidence that the sniper teams just chose not to shoot?

Because the only chain of events I’ve seen involves the shooter staying below the roof line, being seen by a cop who dropped/fell back down after having the gun turned on him, then the shooter immediately raising up and turning back to fire at the president. At which time the Sniper team spotted him, adjusted, and took him out.

No it has not yet been debunked. An explanation has been given.

If this is a serious investigation, investigators will go to all places where C/S teams were located and an actor will simulate Crooks crawl up the backside of roof and we will determine at what point he was exposed enough for a shot. If this does not happen, a coverup is in progress.

Every LE on scene that day is in full CYA mode and every story they tell is to make them look good and absolve them of mistakes. All stories are suspect and every story that can be re-created must be. Otherwise it is just a collection of unverified stories.

The CS teams were watching him for over a minute and a half before he took the first shot.
