Well, you could say that sending more secret service to Jill Biden at the same time shows contempt. Certainly Trump was the more threatened of the two. So whomever was in charge of the event (person, not agency) may have had a reason to not thinking of taking things more seriously. Certainly Cheatle resigned, after pressure to do so, but I doubt we'll know who to point the finger at on site, let alone resign or get fired.

Basically it sounds as if different LE agencies were working almost independent of each other without good communication between them, and that is something that should have been worked out beforehand.

Do you have any evidence that someone saw him and had a clear shot prior to him firing? Any evidence that someone intentionally waited until the shooter fired before returning fire in order to give him a chance to hit Trump?

It certainly is mindboggling the amount of coincidental failures that occurred, that is still hard to wrap my head around for sure. Especially if even gamers can point out that you don't relinquish the high ground. As far as the LE snipers go. The team that was aimed in that direction couldn't see behind the trees. The team that was further away was set up to observe the opposite direction and had to reposition to take the shot after being alerted.

The federal government can point the finger all they want on why those buildings were so poorly guarded, but they were in charge, and that was their responsibility.
