Are you talking about something like a miniature blimp?
He is talking about stationary drones. They come in a box, and have a power cable they carry up with them. They are a modified quad with near unlimited flight life. Depending on who you are when you buy them they come limited to 400ft (FAA rules) or you can get an exception for BLOS and get them with 2000ft reels.

I get this sentiment, but I don’t agree with it.

I don’t think they are winning. There is a base of far left indoctrinated crazy people and backing from mainstream media. But they have also lost tons of support from those who don’t want the crazy shit that the left offers.

The winning is more related to how they took advantage of Covid to expand mail-in voting and allowed 3rd parties to colllect and deliver ballots. But it in general I don’t think the left is hurting their chances with so much extreme rhetoric. But they close themselves off in echo chambers where everyone agrees so they believe they have far more support than they actually do from the general population.

I don’t want to go down that road. I don’t think conservatives or the right in general should take the same extremist actions. I don’t believe context to a past statement should be applied by actions that came afterwards.

So while some may wish me banned, or claims I should work for CNN, or any other version of “you aren’t on our side”, I’ll continue saying what appears true to me based on the information I see. And I’ll question things regardless of how much they might support “my side”. Because I won’t allow myself to become like the left and repeat things just because it appears on the surface to support what I believe or bolster arguments I’d like to make.

Honestly, I think many of the conversations I’ve had here would go much different at a meetup sitting face to face. But I guess that’s just a drawback of online

I'm not advocating we take over part of Houston or we attack a baseball game or the president or anything, but we absolutely should be taking lessons from the left's IW campaign.

They have more than enough people on their side wanting to kill us. Doxxing the vocal/violent ones isn't going to hurt us.

The left's echo chamber is an illusion. Once they get their final goal, they start killing the absolute shit out of each other until a strongman rises

This article more or less confirms what is in the post above.

    I have reached overload.

There's too much information for me to process given that I not only need to synthesize what I see and hear but judge the veracity of it using knowledge and experience I don't have.

Of course, some parts are easy. Reposting snippets from a chan board? Yeah, that's easy to ignore and embarrassing to see posted on TGT.

    I'm taking a break. I think maybe I'll build a computer today.

    Just hear me out.

For something like this the drone would probably have 2 operators. One for flying and one operating the camera. Doesn’t have to be that way, could sit stationary and operate the camera but it’s the government so they’ll likely use 2 personnel.

Take those 2 people, put them in elevated positions, give them binoculars. Much clearer vision now and can turn or react quickly.

Now figure you need 2 teams of operators so one drone goes up before the other comes down. So you could have 4 guys in elevated positions or even on more rooftops (maybe even the one the shooter used) constantly scanning.

And given that there is a limited number of personnel available flying drones will require security personnel to be pulled from other duties like patrolling and monitoring the crowd.

seriously, you’ve never mentioned or heard a phrase related to having someone in your crosshairs?

So much shit has been said by the left that really is horrible. We don’t need to take a common phrase and pretend it means anything more.
One pilot. I have a Drone Operators License, and have flown the newer stuff. We have options. We can designate patrols, where the cameras are also automated. We can alter the camera to do things like "digital zoom first" or "optical zoom first" "tracking limits" "return to monitor point after target is stationary for x seconds" "return to monitor point after target disappears for x seconds" "estimate target movements once lost for x amount of distance or time"... We can tell it "loiter over point x, with a radius of x" we can tell it fully automate the patrol and have it push notifications if "target appears on x location".... For this instance I would have set a loiter radius, then programmed push notifications if a secondary camera spotted a target on one of the rooftops. It would then direct the primary camera to that spot for confirmation. I have used drones that could differentiate between people, vehicles, animals... It could differentiate between kids or adults. I could tell it to ignore cars, but to notify for atvs.

They are way more advanced than you think, and you only need 1 operator.

    Executive Summary:

USSS failed to secure the closest rooftop to the podium. Shooter climbed up it and took shots.

I’m reading IW as Information Warfare. Correct me if I’m wrong. I’m fine with IW. I just want it to be based on accurate information and not misleading propaganda. I believe there is plenty of completely accurate and factual information to spread so that hyperbole or spreading of outright false information is unnecessary.

Spreading information that turns out to be false only hurts credibility.

They have more than enough people on their side wanting to kill us. Doxxing the vocal/violent ones isn't going to hurt us.

Doxing isn’t really something I touched on. I’m typically anti-doxxing because it’s extremely common for the internet sleuths to do a shitty job and dox the wrong person. Just look at the beginning of this thread with pictures and info being posted of the supposed shooter. I won’t say there isn’t a line that I think it becomes justified, but that line is different for everyone and for some it’s quite ridiculous. Do I care if someone gets fired after their employer is informed that they posted on twitter how happy they are that a Trump supporter was killed? Nope.

The left's echo chamber is an illusion. Once they get their final goal, they start killing the absolute shit out of each other until a strongman rises

I’m not sure what you mean by “the lefts echo chamber is an illusion”. I think we may be referring to different things.

I have been on different platforms that are typically controlled/moderated by leftists. They generally claim to be unbiased. An example would be Reddit. Texas has a subreddit and if you went there you would think Texas was a deep blue state. Those are the echo chambers I’m talking about.

Reading again this last part, I think I caught your intent. Yes, the left requires everyone to drink the same flavor of koolaid. No room for any differently opinions. And their system is broken as hell leading to all kinds of internal hypocrisy such as worshipping trans while also adamantly defending Islam. But they will eject anyone form the echo chamber who points out the hypocrisy of it. That is what I believe is dangerous to our side. If we throw someone out for saying “Hey, I’m not sure this actually makes sense” then we end up in the same trap. A bunch of sheep just following a different shepherd.

But given the resources available in any town in the US, what necessitates a drone like that over hardwired cameras on a tower? (You can get some very tall portable towers that are simply towed in to position and set up)

The cameras around LSA Anaconda could monitor a single person 5 miles out. I understand the use of drones in areas without the infrastructure for a hardwired camera system, or for quick deployment and retrieval, but I don’t think those advantages are really applicable here.

Thats why they're winning. Taking the high road hasn't done us much good.
Its not taking the high road. The "croshairs" is a colloquialism, that doesn't bother me too much, HOWEVER: The total demonizing of Trump, suggesting FJB could have him shot with immunity and comparisons to Hitler (if anyone justified assassination it was Hitler. Right?) Were intentionally inflammatory and created a depraved view of right and wrong, which tainted many minds on the left and corrupted at least one so they presumably choose murder as a legitimate action against an evil leader.

I think the USSS should have been outfitted with one. Takes only one person to operate them. We use them when VIPs visit the Texas Border.

    It is not.

The slow to holster woman was near the suburban.

It is also not the woman who helped Trump off stage.

This female SS agent is the one who got Trump to the black Suburban and put her sunglasses on before it left.

Lady who fumbled with the holster and crouched down behind the other agents is the same person. She's the only female agent with dark hair and the other 2 look kind of blonde with different hairstyles.

I might be wrong but that's the way it looks like to me.

In this case you wouldn't want to use quads. That would be silly. They are loud, have shorter flight times etc. We have fixed wing drones, that would fit in a small gun case, that can loiter for 4 - 6 hours and cover the same ground. The other reason they are used is because they are near silent compared to quads. They wouldn't interfere with the event and you wouldn't have to listen to them buzz around. We had 6 hour flights out of small fixed wings 20 years ago, now they are lighter, quieter, and most of them have quad cameras with thermal, wide angle, 40x optical mag etc.
These things are often local PD assets, quads are as fancy as they get for anywhere I know of.

I am now seeing a lot of footage from attendees at the rally who were filming the guy on the roof and pointing him out to cops. My question is, why wasn’t he taken off stage immediately? I know it all happened really quickly, but at the time the people were pointing him out, he wasn’t set up. He was still crawling and trying to get down in position. I would think there was time to radio someone to get Trump off stage. Also, looking at the pictures, particularly at the rifle, I didn’t see a scope on it. Am I wrong?

Yes information warfare. From trolling, all the way up to news headlines. I would like to point out that we dont really have a solid, high quality right wing news outlet.

The "left's echo chamber" the left balkanizes until the big enemy is defeated. Then they start killing each other. The communists hate the ANCOMs who hate the socialists who hate the maoists... they just hate us more.

They only eject people now because you can't have a spark in a powderkeg

Ok rewatched full video and it is same person. She went around and behind the team and then took up rear as he got in Burb.
