It seems odd that deep state would need to go to such obvious methods as publicly shooting Trump when they have heart attack guns or a poisoned glass of wine, etc at their disposal. Or a helicopter crash. Or a car accident (ala Patton). Or a house fire. Or a hairdryer in the bathtub. Or a piano falling out of a window. Butler rally attempt seems crude. Was just a screwy kid or was it to send a message?

All very odd. And how did Jodie Foster fit in all this go-around ?

Maybe they're terrified of him finding out even deeper secrets ?

I wonder why they despise Trump so much.

A question I and millions of others have been asking for almost 10 years. Is certainly a coordinated effort by Dems and news media plus their followers.
There is an establishment clique in politics, and they only want those in their circle to rise to the top. Whether democrat or republican, they are mostly all friends, just putting on a show that there is some difference between them.

They constantly try to convince people that they are the only ones fit to run for President, and that you have to have some level of experience to do the job. Then, Trump comes in and shows that anyone with no political experience can do the job as well if not better than those who have done it their entire adult lives. Even if it took him a little bit of time to figure out how things work, his supposed lack of experience that we constantly heard about in 2016 was not an issue.

On top of that, our government is mostly content with not actually getting anything done. He came in, wanted to get things done, and expected congress to actually do their jobs. Even if he didn’t do everything just right, he raised the bar for what is expected from a POTUS. That’s good for us, but not for future candidates that think they are deserving of the position because their name is Bush or whatever.

    Really good point, there.
A month out, my hunch is that it was extreme contempt for Trump combined with astonishing ineptitude...and if a screwy kid shows up then all the better. Now, after the fact, seems they're hoping this will keep Trump inside, and that his supporters will stay safely at home. Heh. Wrong on both.

Wow.....not going to read the whole thread.

But anyone who thinks that a 20-year-old kid gets to an elevated position less than 150 yards away with an AR to take a shot at a former president or any political figure, for that matter, that's being protected by Secret Service is just a mistake needs their head examined.

This only happened because it was not only allowed to happen, but planned to happen.
