Pancakes and Little Smokies for supper last night.

Stores sure do go ape shit for Hatch chili season. the people I know in New Mexico tend to like the red chilies the site produces better.

While I do enjoy red chili’s, the hatch peppers are a nice addition to a few meals. Meat loaf fir example. I dice up a couple and mix it in with the meat.

I use a lot of poblano peppers, miss the gas stove for fire roasting all kinds of peppers.

Try a couple hatch peppers in a meat loaf. Not roasted. It’s a really nice touch.

I woke up around 2:30 am in pain, figured it was to early to eat a pain killer so I ate some Excedrin on an empty stomach. Started feeling worse so I was up until 4:30.

The wife got up with the dog about the time I nodded back off. Besides her making to much noise, she started making herself breakfast & coffee. I got up to her mess of oatmeal.

She informs me it’s raining and has so most of the night. I figure that was what made me ache. I figured it was time for drugs & breakfast Bacon flavored Spam air fried with fried hard eggs & American cheese, on a toasted bun.
