Why would .300 Savage and .308 be less suited to smaller game than 30-06?
I was just looking at that chart thinking the same. Makes no sense at all.Why would .300 Savage and .308 be less suited to smaller game than 30-06?
That's just fuelish.View attachment 459423
I've had a whitetail commit suicide by running full speed head first into my fuel tank.
Was that a 150 cal?View attachment 459423

Sorry, all I got is a 50/140 sharps. But I keep that for squirrels!Anyone using anything less than a 4 bore is not killing them dead enough.
Good luck with that.so is hunting off a public road or out of season. Doesn’t change the fact that the 22 reigns supreme in that role and likely has killed more deer than the other calibers.
Does this mean I have to shoot a Whitetail 3 times with my 45-120 Sharps Express to kill it? I use 350 gr bullets at 2800 fps, could go faster but my shoulder says no!Sorry, all I got is a 50/140 sharps. But I keep that for squirrels!

What about exotics? I don't think someone would care when cull hunting.Rimfire is illegal in Texas for big game.
Squirrels don't hunt. They're too small to operate a rifle.Surprised they didn't have 5.56/.223 listed....it makes a decent squirrel round.
That's not a rifle
