Shiner Hefeweitsen. Wish I could get a decent doppel bock here. Even a good crystal weiss. I know, opposite ends of the spectrum. What do you expect from someone who started drinking "kinderbier" (1/2 beer and 1/2 lemon soda) at an early age?

For the hooch, it would have to be some of the kickin' chicken: Wild Turkey 101

I used to say if you have to put anything in your beer (e.g. a lime), that it wasn't good beer. However, a Hefeweizen is a slice of orange is really good shibit!

I forgot about Tequila. I like the dark stuff; 1800 Reserva Anejo, I believe.

I was pleasantly supprised when I added a slice of orange to Blue Moon. . . . really adds to the flavor.

Some good local beer. Something from St Arnold, Real Ale, or the like. If I want something harder, I can sometimes be caught drinking railean rum, wild turkey 101, american honey, or jagermeister.

For all of you "Shiner Bock" guys, I urge you to try New Belgian "1554". You will fall in love!
I've had it. I like it, but I can't just walk to the convenience store and get a six pack. I love the fact that I can walk into damn near any bar in TX and get a Shiner. Although I did wander into one bar in some little town I can't remember where the darkest beer they had was Budweiser... yuck.

I used to think the same thing, but a Modelo or Dos XX with a lime slice is REALLY refreshing when its hot outside.
