Make sure you go sit in one. I had a 04 dodge diesel. It pulled fine and didn't give me issues, but I find the Dodge seats to short and cut mid thigh. It was a uncomfortable truck to drive long distance.

You gotta sit in one now outdare. They are night and day different from 2004. The interiors are the nicest of ANY truck, imo. If you get any of the top 3 trim levels, everything is leather wrapped.

have you seen MH's truck? that thing is lifted to the sky. it ain't gonna be hauling anything neither. :p

    sorry MH lol

It hauls ass w the 6 position chip. That doesn't count as hauling? lol

Only a 4" lift, not much really. Plus I got airbags. I'm only planning on towing a travel trailer. I'm not going to be pulling any massive haulers w equipment. It's a little overkill but I didn't want to get a 1/2 ton and be limited later.

I bought it lifted. Considering taking it back down closer to stock. If I ever do, I'd put on cut out flares and keep the 35s though.

Would you mind sharing where you got those numbers?

Reason I ask is because it's all a numbers game for marketing. Example, Dodge just bumped the torque#s to 900# just so they could say in their ads that they can haul 10# more than Super Duty.

    10#............Really?

Drove a 2008 Chevy 3500 for a few years for work. It was all leather and fancy. The seats were the most uncomfortable I have ever sat in.

Looks good on paper don't it?

Anyone who pulls that kind of weight with an 8k# truck is an idiot.

That is a very foolish statement.

I ran about 33k pounds maxed out while HotShotting. I could stop faster than most cars. Totally legal and safe. We usually ran about 28k pounds just to save wear on the equipment though.

I hope you're not referring to me bubba. I know my way around a truck, small to medium to large. Most folks don't realize that a loaded truck/trailer stops very well. Empty trailer, not so much.

Last I checked, those 5-lug landscaping trailers don't come with trailer brakes. :p
