In 2028, I will still be younger than the oldest shooting medalist, Oscar Swahn. He took silver for Sweden in a rifle event in 1924 when he was 72 years old.
That's an observation, not an aspiration, btw.
Women's Modern Pentathlon
Hungary came from behind in the Laser Run to win gold. France took silver. South Korea took bronze.
The "Laser Run" is the final event and decides the winner in Modern Pentathlon. NBC isn't providing discrete coverage of that event so it's only included in the overall summary of all events. Since most folks won't be interested in the entire proceedings, the video below should begin at about 3:30, near the beginning of the laser run. First shooting is at 4:05 where, in her first shot string, the French leader manages to keep missing, blowing her lead that she never gets back. The Hungarian shoots almost perfectly to move to first where she will remain until the end.
