I might have been in the area in my thirties.
Now, in my sixties, I know better, and I'm alot more fragile.

Same age here and amen brother!
I was visiting my brother's property this weekend. Took my 90 pound German Shepherd for the exercise as she loves to herd the goats. Well she clipped my leg as she was running around. Really a nudge that a few years ago I swear I wouldn't have even noticed. Instead I stagger around like a drunk looking for something to grab on to and wound up wrenching my shoulder keeping myself from falling.
As my dad used to say - after beating cancer at 65, heart attacks at 78 and 85 - getting old isn't for pu$$ies!

The police officers had a medic with them and you can see that an officer called for him. The police officer that started responding could aggravate an injury like that, and I believe was told to let the medic take care of it.

The news made it sound like the police didn't care and just walked by, without noting that the man was being seen to by someone that may know what to do within moments.

Was it meant to be faked and he got injured anyway? I don't know, but I don't believe the police were using abusive powers as it was framed.

The hospital says he was in serious but stable condition.

Maybe they are lying. Maybe the ME is lying and George Floyd is alive and well on a pacific island with Osama Bin Laden.

    Occam’s Razor.

I believe in Occam’s Razor. I also believe there are not enough facts available to support the accusation of intentional malice.

    “Intentional Malice”?

    who suggested that?

The New York state governor, Andrew Cuomo, said the incident was “wholly unjustified and utterly disgraceful”, adding: “Police officers must enforce – not abuse – the law.”
    ...
John Curr, director of the Buffalo chapter of the New York Civil Liberties Union, accused the police officers involved of “casual cruelty”. “[It’s] gut-wrenching and unacceptable. Suspensions and an investigation are already in order, but there is little more we have to see to know what took place.

I resemble that! :green: I'm still trying to figure out what the old fart was doing out there!

    let me help you out.

In the second week of rioting, and as police are moving down street to clear it as curfew is upon, some 75 yo geezer thinks that is perfect time to confront the cops over whatever.

Oblivious to their march he gets in their face and is pushed off. Completely unprepared, he stumbles backward and falls, and apparently klunks his head causing it bleed.

Typical geezer he is probably on 1000 grams of Coumadin, so his blood is thinner than turpentine, so the faucet is open and it looks like he is going to bleed out.

and this of course is the cops fault.

You dont bleed like that in a matter of seconds from you ear.
It was a set up and he was trained to do this.
The thing about the fake mask cord seems inaccurate. It looks like he's wearing two masks.

But that is a lot of blood coming out of his ear pretty soon after he hit the ground. That does not seem realistic at all.

    Wow.

The video doesn't have sound, and I couldn't hear what the guy was asking the officers.
To me, it looks like he over-exaggerated the shove, but it is obvious he really did get hurt which is unfortunate.
It looks like he found a riot helmet and was trying to return it. Maybe. He has a phone in his right hand, and reaches it pretty close to one cop's holster. Regardless of what you're trying to do, I can imagine that reaching that close to anyone's holster would earn you a firm shove back.
