They need to start making the 10/22 magnum again.
Not caliber, quality. For a few more bucks you can get a real gun.
I asked about one at the LGS the other day and was told they are still in limited production but hard to find.
He could have been wrong though. I haven't seen one in years. 10 yrs or so really.
I was interested until I saw it was $329.
Do not want.
Seriously?? 329??? They can keep that nonsense. For 329, I want wood stock, threaded barrel, and weaver rail.

Sweet! Which manufacturer offers all of that for an MSRP of $329?
Ok, I'd thought the 77\22 took the 10\22 barrels, I was wrong.Too bad no American manufactures offer a true target 22's like the Anschutz or CZ, Cooper is the only American 22 that is match quality that I know of. The Ruger would have been a great idea with a barrel set up like the 10/22 so match grade barrels were available, have to give this one a no buy vote.

Yeah, what does this do that a 10/22 wont? I really doubt it'll be any more accurate. Do people just like being gimped by a bolt action? lol
There's nothing that this new bolt action .22 will do that one of your 10/22s won't do faster and cheaper, but if it just tickles your fancy then go for it.I own 4 10/22's. i also have a 77/22 and several other bolt action .22's. if i buy this rifle, which i likely will, please tell me how i am being "gimped."
Why aren't these threaded?
