Well that's funny right there, but it does raise a point...Anyone wearing pink Crocs or drinking Bud Light would be given 24 hour notice to move out, right?
Anytime you get a group of people...there would be issues- no matter the intent. Consensus is difficult/impossible to obtain- especially for a group of very non-traditional thinkers.Well that's funny right there, but it does raise a point...
Oh brother, there is interest.Depending on interest, 1-2 dozen?
3 weeks or 3 hours doesn't matter to me. If a young lady visits me, I probably can't afford more than 3 hours of her time, anyway.55 and over community, with 3 week limit on stays by guests under that age.

Some nudist parks have nice amenities plus you can save money not having to wash or buy clothes.
Only if it's a Glock. But do they allow concealed carry?.....
Very carefullyBut do they allow concealed carry?.....
Highrise condos frequently do that - keep a couple of the least desirable units empty and use them as reduced-price hotel rooms available for use exclusively by current residents. One viable workaround is the community owns a few casitas/cabins that they rent to visiting family for the week they are there ala hotel room stay, but not at gouging prices of a marriot.
Love it. The guest cabins! One viable workaround is the community owns a few casitas/cabins that they rent-out to visiting family for the week they are there, ala hotel room stay, but not at gouging prices of a marriot. Limits would come into play there. The community benefits from any revenue, thus lowering overall costs.
Absolutely. it costs nothing at this stage to dream and brainstorm.Love it. The guest cabins!
That said, I can't tell if y'all are being serious...
That's the kind of info I was looking for, and not a bad idea. Tks!One creative avenue to explore is where you don't even own your house, the community, inc owns everything and you have a share in that combined with a life-estate: ownership of immovable property for the duration of a person's life. In legal terms, it is an estate in real property that ends at death, when the property rights may revert to the original owner. Your heirs could then sell your share as you instruct. We'd need to be creative.
I've lived in a community where the developer kept rights to all the golf course/country club/amenities and passed that on to his grandkids- who have zero motivation to spend on upkeep of the cash-cow that collects escalating monthly fees. Those are the types of things we'd need to ensure can't happen. Mini-municipality fiefdom.
If people would prefer to hold their own deed, then by all means, that is the way to go-if it's what everyone would want. Folks were asking how to lock-in low taxes- creative loopholes, like perhaps a preservation/conservation easement for the deer property (if that is important). Or ag exemptions. That's the kind of info I was looking for, and not a bad idea. Tks!
My nature needs something in-between what is evolving here and simplicity like Moonpie's van by the river, lol - so when the time comes to leave TenOaks I'll likely head back north.
It's cold up North. Old bones and cold don't mix, is why I am so keen on in-floor radiant floor heating: makes you feel like an old dog lounging in the sun. Slab is terrible for my feet and knees and forced-air heat just dries out my brain.
