I owned an M35A2 for a month and it suuuuuucked on trails. No suspension travel and way too long and wide. I traded it for a really clean CJ7 which eventually got a Cummins 4bt transplant.
Those beginners need to start off in 60's era deuce and half. I swear those things will go anywhere it can get traction. With 10 wheels powered and locking axles that means about anywhere. COULD USE A BETTER ROLL CAGE.

Love watching the antics of these off road operators.

Matt's Off Road Recovery has been popping up a lot in my recommended feed. Having spent 16 years in towing and roadside it piqued my interest, and I wound up subscribing to his stuff. He's got some pretty badass recoveries he's done. He also works in the area where the wife & I were considering moving to, if we didn't move here to Texas.

I figured out years ago there are 3 kinds of people in the world:
    1. Those that want a Jeep
    2. Those that have a Jeep
    3. Those that had a Jeep

I'm currently in the last category. When I had mine I loved it but it cost me too much to intentionally try and tear it up. Slightly Scottish I guess.

Funny I’ve seen the same list a few times, just replace Jeep with:
    Boat
    Italian car
    Stripper girlfriend
