With the new house I have yet to fly mine. While I’d love to have a proper pole, other needs have come up. Recently found out my tower the WIFI is on needs $2,226.70 worth of upgrades. $3k for a mower and the list goes on.

When the tower guy comes out on the 6th I’ll ask him about my tower doubling as a pole! In the meantime the flag will be mounted on the porch pillars. My flag is rather large and it’s going to take some doing!

After having two American flags stolen off our house within a week and the stolen election we decided to take down the third flag and put the Texas flag in it's place. My wife wanted to fly the Confederate flag, I thought the HOA wouldn't like that one.

One good reason not to own a house with an HOA that can dictate your life. I just can't abide someone telling me what I can, or can't do with my own property.

A buddy of mine who tends to procrastinate moved into a house with a HOA. Stupid shit like Christmas lights had some bastard driving by tacking pictures. He said he is coming up in the next couple of days. I have the feeling he’s going to hate his HOA even more after the visit!

It only took me 3 years but I finally ordered a flagpole for this house the first week of June. It finally shipped last week after threatening to do a chargeback on my credit card. It was supposed to be delivered by noon today, but now UPS has notified me it is delayed until Tuesday.
