I wouldn't change a thing unless I met a point it didn't do what I wanted to do, but I been through all that customize, make it mine, I know better than a whole factory full of engineers thing 40 years ago.

Some may disagree I suppose, but getting loud pipes just for the sake of being loud means you're the rice boy racer wannabe in the biker world. If your bike is 120dB at 10 feet and you can get walked by a mommy in a minivan? Well lets just say you did it wrong.

No. Loud pipes on Harleys are there so they can sit at the red light and blip the throttle obnoxiously.

Adding to your list, I'd maybe swap to a stiffer frame, revise the geometry, trim about 200lbs, upgrade the brakes.

Round mirror. Only one. Bent stem to get it low. Take off the mufflers. Tip the exhaust. Headed wrap in tan or black. Cone air filter that sticks out nasty far. The turns signals would be gone. Mount some leds close for turn signals. Old a$$ round bolt trailer light with a led bulb for the tail light.

No painting the the engine. I'd polish everything I could. Black and bright.

I 2nd this and a Harley Davidson sounds good Its is not about being a ricer they sound like we we we we we waaaaa. A Harley is a deep thud thud thud. It kinda reminds me of old school chevy 383 cammed.
