Tire plug kit, how easy are those for an everyday person to use?
Call me ignorant, but what are the popsicle sticks for?I take a vehicle bag, random stuff in the truck, and a small backpack that doubles as my personal travel bag and minimalist BOB.
I have most of the things already mentioned, other stuff I can think of:
fishing pole and tackle box
Stanley power station
extension cord
zip ties
bungee cords and all kinds of rope and string
life straw/sawyer squeeze
cheap walkie talkie (not that important, but ya never know)
kukri knife (more durable than machete, can chop wood)
Bunch of folding knives, a particular Gerber is my favorite
USAF survival knife
bayonet
food and water (depending on where I'm going)
batteries, extra phone batteries
extra sunglasses
pop sickle sticks
tarps/tent canopy, tent stakes
swimming goggles
Scott blue shop towels (can do anything with these)
old shirt
extra clothes
emergency blanket, old quilts and blankets
glass bottles
bunch of plastic grocery bags (can do anything too)
scissors (one of the best inventions ever)
Most of this stuff I actually use on a daily basis and for work

Ahhhh, gotchya thanksKinda just threw them in there, I suppose to light a little fire if need be or some kindling wood if there are no twigs around, maybe if God forbid you're trapped in a vehicle and they're within reach and your lighter is on you.
