Thinking about adding a vise to my reloading bench

Got around to it this evening and the bullet sizer push pin works fine pushing the cases base first.
It does take quite a bit of effort to push the cases through (using a Rockchucker) in either direction.
They were cleaned unsized cases. I tried it again with loaded rounds and it was quite a bit easier.Very interested in this.
What condition is the brass before you work with it? I give mine at least 30 mins in the tumbler for a semi clean then start working and it moves through pretty easily.

If you are using Lee carbide reloading dies, you likely will need to process cases during the first reloading only. Lee sizing dies have a special contour grind that usually prevents the objectionable base bulge that commonly occur on ordinary carbide dies
I was happily loading 45 acp, had done about 120 and completed a stroke and there was a clink-clank ping noise under the press. ?????? WTF? Looked her over, and then under and there was a piece of steel under the press? When I fished it out, I knew immediately what it was!.. I'm loading on a Hornady Lock-n-Load AP, and the index wheel that positions the rotary shell plate had snapped in two, right through the shaft/center hole. My guess is a weak part as I can't imagine how I could have done that, the shift pawls should have popped off waaay before this could happen View attachment 240969
I bought a clamp on from Harbor Freight. $20ish
It’s nice to be able to take it off when not needed.
What Gen are you wanting? Post up a WTB ad. If you were north of Dallas I have a Gen 3 not being used.I ordered some .355 projectiles. Going to play around with loading some super hot 68 gr all copper boolits. Anyone want to sell me a Glock 34?
Might take any I can get. I like gen 3 just fine. I was hoping to get a blue label purchase, but I think that ship sailed. What Gen are you wanting? Post up a WTB ad. If you were north of Dallas I have a Gen 3 not being used.
Had good luck getting primers the last few days. Powder Valley came through in a big way despite their website crashing multiple times during my checkout. Even managed to find CCI small rifle primers today at Academy of all places.
