Sat in the middle of a Katy prairie soybean field, on many a freezing cold, windy morning, with literally thousands of geese attempting to land in the 300 rag spread.
Wasn't unusual to have dozens of (confused?) ducks mixed in with all those geese.

Rarely, out on the prairie, were there many mallards, more likely to be pintails.

Damned shame that what happened wasn't ideal, but I can fully understand why it wasn't.

Those involved with the violence should be charged accordingly. The arrest of almost 200 people is a sign of an overzealous police force which isn't surprising given the inaccurate comments made by the assistant chief time and time again.

Holding those 175 people is part of figuring out who to charge. The scene was large and multiple potential actors inflates the arrests. This is not some two man scuffle in a mall parking lot that is sorted in 20min.

It sucks for anyone wrapped up in it. I'd guess it'll go a lot like MrReeds thoughts.
