I remember buying groceries for my siblings when visiting their UT campus. When I got back home I revved my engine a few times, ate a unhealthy amount of steak, and stroked my guns until I felt better. That was the day I questioned if Austin was just some 3rd dimension of the twilight zone that you enter when passing though parts of Texas; Therefore I would say it isn't part of Texas..
