Revolver or SA? Is that the real question?

I like 'em both - revolvers and SA's. However, no firearm collection is complete without the dog. She's the early warning system long before the revolver or SA is put into action. But she only checks in around 200lbs., it's the 225lb. boy that joins this team. These guys let you know if an ant is crawling around on the inside of the house. So, 425lbs of barking (not squeaking) clues you in. Once alerted, grab the firearm that works best for you.

I prefer a dog that's light enough to carry comfortably...

What a gorgeous drool factory! I love giants. We currently have 5 dogs rescued from the roads. None are giants, but all think they are. I want to get a Boerboel at some point, but hopefully it will be years in the future. The only down side to a 200 lb dog as an early alert system is that they are more likely to be in your line of fire than a 50lb dog.

You bring up a good point, in that case, I either need to be a great target shooter or hope the bad guy(s) decide that they picked the wrong house.

Well, if dogs play a part in deciding between SAs and revolvers, maybe we should ask this guy what he prefers?

No one needs these military grade assault K9s, these need to be restricted to Mil/LE. I think we should get a petition on whitehouse.gov to address this issue.
