There's only one real question, is it a human?

If the answer is "Yes" then it has inherent human rights. Ignoring any discussion of God, in this country we've articulated those plainly as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Some people say it's not a human until _______[your criteria here]_____. I say that I've never seen a woman give birth to a dog or a horse so my money is on human when it pops out.

I draw no moral distinction in murdering someone before they're born vs after.

I'll never understand how people can claim that they are denied a college education. I don't believe that for a second. Everyone I know who complains that they can't go to school because of monetary issues has made poor decisions that lead to that.

Hell, I have a friend who's family falls into the lower half of the middle class. He worked full time in high school and invested his money. He paid for his entire college without loans.

It makes no sense to me that someone can expect something to be handed to them.

Something a friend of mine said, "there is nothing convenient about parenting", lol. For context, it was said in a matter of fact way and not in a resentful tone.

Parenting a child you don't want or love is inconvenient. Parenting a special needs/disabled child is even more so. The wife of a co worker I had many, many years ago, aborted their child due to the fact that she would get big over the summer during swim suit season and she likes to lay out in the sun. That abortion was about convenience.

Just trying to give you some insight into the convenience issue that orbitup is talking about. For several decades the womens movement has taught women that there is sex without strings attached and they are wrong and those strings (unwanted child, STD, emotional pain) are inconvenient.

It's the convenience of the moment. My wife and I have counseled with women who got abortions and were later haunted by that decision. It's easy to justify most decisions. But can you live with it later?

Your head can tell you it's your choice and right to abort. But it may be that your heart confronts you about it later. Seen it lots of times. Talk about screwing up a person's head. It's a hard road out of that place.

some people are not meant for higher eduaction, everyone these days what happens when you have all white collar and no labor. but some people that arent meant for college are wasting our tax dollars, how do they get grants and such with out the scores? affrimative action is wrong.... for me to give you my money cause you are black, latino, white, and dont have the smarts
to carry through and be productive,on a college level and graduate... is a waste of money.. And time!!!

Yea I guess I did. Now you can go thank her for making that decision. You don't own your wife's body and you never will. You'll also notice I never used the term "wife" in my comments but way to completely distort the point I was making to suit your diluted view.

The truth is that your line of logic is completely flawed, but people try to justify it so they don't have to say they condone killing babies. Just be honest and say that you're ok with killing a baby because it was easier for whatever reason.

To try and gain some moral high ground by calling it a right is laughable. That's like saying we have the right to kill illegal immigrants cause they leach on gov services, or the right to kill retarded kids or old people because its too difficult to care for them. I should have the right to kill stupid people cause they are a daily beat down, after all, its my mental health.

I don't get it either. When I got done with high school, I knew I couldn't afford college, and I knew there wasn't really anything I wanted there anyway. Any time I feel bad about it, I can just run down to the local book store or Starbucks and make college-educated people do shit for my pocket change.
