I've only been to one indoor range once ever, and they didn't allow steel core haha. Didn't know that all ranges were like that.

The Arms Room over at League City allows bi-metal steel cased ammo, including 7.62x54R.

Maybe I shouldn't say this out loud, but asked nicely, in person, some indoor ranges will make an exception to their policy for 7.62x54R. Since the steel stuff is basically the only ammo anyone has for that caliber, they'll sometimes cut those folks a break. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Sorry Ben haven't checked this thread in a few days. Need some cheapo .22 for my 10/22
I will have plenty on hand. Bring the rifle and I'll supply the ammo.

At least, I think I will. When I said I'd be in attendance, I didn't know when it was. The thread doesn't seem to be locked down on a date but I'm going on the assumption that we're talking the 27th at Shooter's Station, probably at opening, probably to be followed by lunch at some venue where we'll all look completely out of place.

Have I got that right, Scott?

ETA - Sorry, Scott. It looks like we were both composing at the same time.
