"Girly-drinks" that taste good. Should I be embarrassed?

Helped all day moving a buddy's man-cave stuff. Bought a new house.
1,000 lb. safe. We rented a dolly and risked our lives.
5 trailer loads of stuff to his new abode.

Impulse buy at Total-Wine checkout was the girly flavored vodka.
We did drink some serious IPAs and a couple of shared Imperial Russian Stouts.
Then we hit the vodka.

Still.
The "Organic grapefruit and organic Cylon cinnamon" craft vodka tastes pretty damn good. We drank half+ the bottle.

Should I be ashamed of drinking girly drinks???
At worst the foo-foo vodka might even be considered a liberal drink. Horrors.

My honey-do last Tuesday was to cut those oak disks with one of my Stihl saws. For better or for worse.

I say theres nothing wrong with it as long as you dont stick your pinky out while drinking. I've gotten addicted to honey whiskey with sweet tea. Its weird drinking regular tea without the honey taste.

Drink what you like. I like cinnamon whiskey, especially a shot floated in an ice cold glass of cider.

Not a fan of Fireball though as it's too sticky sweet for me. Flamethrower is pretty good.

As youngsters we drink piss. Perhaps you like vodka and drink high dollar Russian vodka. In the end, it’s still piss. Flavored anything is still piss. “Oh, but it’s...”, still piss. Drink bourbon or whiskey. Anything less requires forfeiture or your man card.

We recently went an event with free booze. Wifey went to get drinks while I held our place at the table. She comes back with two cups. Tasted a little like blueberry pancakes.

"What the heck is this?"

"Blueberry vodka and Sprite."


We now have a bottle of blueberry vodka. Not my usual, but I always have a sip of hers before I hit the scotch.

It's too sweet for me... but every now and then it hits the spot. The wife keeps a bottle of it in the fridge. Her name is Chata. So it's fitting

A buddy of mine has been on a health kick the last 6 months, keto diet, exercise & quit drinking beer. Hes lost 80 lbs. His drink of choice has been Topo Chico with vodka & lime.
Not a girly drink & has no fattening stuff.

Pretty shameful. Real men drink for the buzz just like John Wayne. A few shots of cheap red eye in a dirty glass should suffice.
