Colorado Senate Approves Stricter Gun Laws

And read through the entire forum thread, get to the end. There are major players here giving play by play HERE

I keep hearing "won't happen here" but look what they are doing in CO. A state that used to be free. Sounds like Bloomberg and his money and his BS have influenced this. Do yall want that junk here?

All Hickenlooper has to do is sign the bills when they hit his desk. I highly recommend that everyone get on the horn to your state reps and remind them that things like this are not acceptable in Texas.

cbigclarke, yeah, they will rejoice for sure. And may I be struck by lightening for saying this, but what has happened to CO to me looks like what they've done to Austin already. Surely we don't want this for the rest of Texas.

I sent off a number of emails and FB messages to the CO state senate a week or two ago, in hopes of trying to help them out. But for the grace of God go I.... Their legislatures got an earful from pro-gun citizens but refused to listen. I shudder at the thought of fighting the same battle. Their leaders simply refused to listen to their people.

    Rational Gun: Magpul shrugs

    Monday, March 11, 2013

    Magpul shrugs

Goodbye, Colorado. May you soon become the urban centric, debt ridden, Bloombergian utopia you dream of.

Bloomberg bought Colorado Democrats. Bloomberg bought Colorado.

    Statement from a Magpul executive:
"We've been going all weekend. Thought we had it late last week...Bloomberg flew in another money guy with deeper pockets to make the rounds, and now we are where we are.
Just to recap for you...this is Bloomberg's bill, brought to the Gov by Bloomberg's lobbyists, Sponsored by a state senator promised Bloomberg support (and at the behest of the governor) passing with votes bought by Bloomberg. All this despite the constituents overwhelmingly opposing it except in some very liberal districts, proponents of the bill admitting it will do nothing for public safety, and thousands showing up at the Capitol and at town hall meetings to oppose it.
    Democracy in action, folks."

When elections come around in that state there will be hell to pay. There will be a political blood letting. Once the others see that they will think twice about Bloombergs money

    We live in perilous times.

Call & write your elected reps at least weekly, if not daily.

Keep your powder dry, and clear fields of fire wherever you live.

It depends. Them people Mighty mad right now.

I hope you're right. I hope this is the wake up call that ignites a nation and starts to fix several of the mistakes that have been made at the polls in recent years.

Where was everybody and their concern in the late 90's when CA got the bans? The battle for the 2nd should have started then.

Just an opinion but, CA is well known for going to extremes and for the most part expected. I'm not discounting your position, just making an observation.

The times have changed. People are different. You are right and its no excuse; it is what it is and we are where we are. We must play the ball where it lay

Well I was in 6th grade in '91. Graduated high school in '97. Learned to walk again in '98.

Where were you in the 90s?
