    Not where you are
Whatever you do, don't buy a Heritage Rough Rider. The low price is tempting, but they are junk.

Mine is functioning fine after 4 yrs now. Got the 22 mag cyl with it as well.
Once ya figure out the sight picture and how to aim it it will hit what ya ain it at.

For 200 bucks with the fancy looking grips I got no complaints.

Save a couple hundred more and find a S&W 617. IMO This is a fantastic revolver, while the price may be a bit steep, I think it is worth it, even with the Hillary Hole.

But it is your money, do as you will.
I would pay a couple of hundred more for a revolver like that if you know where I can find one

I have two that have not only been 100% reliable, but a lot of fun to shoot.

Don't be a gun snob. For $99 each, they're great little pistols!
Not being a gun snob at all - I require my revolver cylinders to revolve without binding and I don't like any guns with plastic parts (other than a front sight insert).

    H&R Model 999 Sportsman 9shot
    4”barrel
    22lr
    S/A and D/A
    Excellent condition.
    No box or papers.
Comes with a nifty speedloader and a few small parts.
Parts are sight screws and the U spring that holds the cylinder on the frame. This part does wear out with extensive use.
    $540 cash
I have a 999. Great gun. Really like that speedloader!

    Plastic parts?
Cylinder(s) rotate fine a long as you assemble it correctly and get pin and cyl aligned when doing so.
This gun sees use on the ranch as my critter getter always in a holster on my hip when Im working out there hence the wear.

I know I wont change your mind but being able to shoot 22 and 22mag from same gunn for under 2bills works for me.

Have had a rough rider for about 15 years and it’s been a good little gun.

Only issue it’s ever had was when I was holding the trigger and smacking the hammer. Ended up breaking it. Ordered a replacement and the new hammer was made of noticeably better steel. That was probably 14 years ago. Seems they saw the issue and fixed it back then. Lost the mag cylinder somewhere along the way...

H&R made quite a few different 22lr revolvers. The one my father has, was my grandfather's. I think it's a 922. DA, 6" barrel, and 9 shot cylinder.

Looks very similar to this one, but with wood grips.
