CLOSED .22 LR Revolver DFW

Want to buy a .22LR revolver. Preferably 3 inch barrel. I'm not rich so I can only afford around $600 plus or minus,
FTF DFW area I have LTC.

I'd hit those pawn shops up and down Davis and 26...if you can find a clean High Standard, you can do no better, and you might be in the 300-400 range. I scored a 4" Sentinel Deluxe blue and a Sentinel Snub factory nickel, both 90%, within the last 2 mo, on Gunbroker.Worth some gas and an afternoon to hunt. 9 shots and well-built. They also made some cowboy style, but they're all double-action/single action.

Yes I have seen the Ruger Wrangler for $199 but I don't want the cowboy style

Save a couple hundred more and find a S&W 617. IMO This is a fantastic revolver, while the price may be a bit steep, I think it is worth it, even with the Hillary Hole.

But it is your money, do as you will.
