The definition of truth sucks. Your view is one definition, but it can also be (according to Merriam-Webster) "a judgment, proposition, or idea that is true or accepted as true." Even the 1828 version of Merriam-Webster has 13 different definitions.
...and definitely don't confuse Truth™ with truth.

Where does she get her information? That is the problem. There is a tremendous amount of lying going on in the MSM and Joy Reid in particular, but it is so off the wall it does not even pass the sniff test, so it is easy to root out.

For example, if the trouble is instigated by Trump Supporters, why are Democratic Governors and Mayors doing nothing about it?

Why is the media calling it a "mostly peaceful protest" if Trump supports are behind it?

Facts are logic based; truths are a belief based collection of facts.

It is a truth that Bob was the builder of a home. The facts are Bob hired or subcontracted others to perform the actual work required to lay the foundation, install plumbing and electrical systems, erect the frame, dry in the structure, and do the finish work.

That Bob built a home is a truth is based on the fact that he engaged in having a home built to his specifications and there is value (intrinsic or extrinsic) of Bob being considered a builder.

Bon could have also purchased a new build home from a builder and can still say he built a home, because it’s socially acceptable for that to be a truth.

No, that is an "accepted truth". In truth, it is a lie.

Facts, like theorems are provable. Such as the Pythagorean Theorem. Otherwise it is a theory, not yet proven.
When I say I built an AR, that is a half fact, or truth, because I bought the parts.

Logical or accepted does not make anything the truth or a fact unless they are provable.
