This is simply my observations and opinions based upon some things I have learned about this event and Kyle Rittenhouse, over the course of several days. It isn't a condemnation of him or others like him in any way.

I don't think KR set out with any ill intent, or malice in his heart that day. I don't see him as a hero, or a martyr by any stretch either, but I can see him as young man who is a patriot in every sense of the word, of wanting to help, and to do the right thing. I think he thought that standing guard being armed would be enough to deter violent behavior on those wanting to loot and riot and damage private property. Things went sideways. I think KR fired probably out of fear. Fear of being seriously injured, or even possibly being killed. If this is true, it doesn't make him a hero. It makes him a human being with normal human emotions.

Personally, I admire his courage to step up, and to do what he thought was the right thing to do that day. He is now paying a heavy price for that courage. Was what he did the right thing? I can't say, since I wasn't there and I wasn't standing in his shoes facing what he faced that night. Only Kyle can attest to that. 17 years old is an awful young age to be learning the lesson he is now learning though. And it's only beginning for him as well. I am going to pray that he finds peace, support, and understanding to be able to deal with the difficulties he will be going through in the future. I ask that others do the same for Kyle. He will need prayers and support for his emotional needs as well as money for his legal needs.

I'm also praying, that he isn't used as a political scapegoat for political purposes or an agenda as well. I'm praying that those leading this farce of charging him as they have done, come to their senses and drop all the charges. He truly doesn't deserve what he's going through.

No gun found in Jacob Blakes car.

    Well that changes everything!!!
I mean, EVERYONE knows that knives are NOT dangerous. Or an angry, violent prone person driving an SUV.....
Dang it, I forgot to use the sarcasm font.
