    ekim,

Simple. - Because some people here just like to comment/argue, even when they have nothing of import to say.

HAPPY & BLESSED NEW YEAR from both of us.

    ekim,

At least I try (though don't always succeed) to NOT "pontificate" about subjects of which I know nothing whatever. = Generally, IF I comment on something (like the Texas Revolution, cast bullet loads for "BIG game" or DB shotguns, for example,) it's because I've researched the subject.
(Whether an other member agrees or not, is of little importance. - That's why opinions are like "armpits", as most everyone has 2 & the armpits/opinions often stink.)

Those people who believe that their personal opinions are the ONLY valid opinions, "get on my coffee nerves".
(One of the Internet forums, to which I belong, has a longtime member who said last week that, "Every single thing that DJT has done in the last 20 years has been a complete failure." - I can think of any number of reasons that his opinion is: simply SILLY.)

Yeah but what do you think of the PA law and do you favor unethical treatment of animals SATX? I think we all got that animals do not have rights now and oddly enough, neither do the unborn

    sharkey,

DEFINE exactly what you mean by "unethical treatment of animals" & I'll try to answer your question.
(MORONS like the PETA "nuts" say that "owning a pet", much less eating "animal products" or wearing leather is UNETHICAL & EVIL.)

As a "pet owner", hunter & meat-EATER, I would be certainly DESPISED by the "animal rights" crowd.

As to the PA law, I've already said that I find it: NEEDLESS & utterly STUPID.

Well after your reply to ZRX, I was unsure how you felt. Yep the law is needless. As for what is unethical, I think we need to keep this about pets because that is what the story is about. I already gave 3 examples - keeping a dog outside in the heat/cold all day and not providing suitable shelter depending on the breed, leaving a dog tied up 24/7, or leaving a pet in a hot car for an extended period of time.
I would add starving a dog or not providing hydration. Allowing the dog to be eat up with fleas or ticks and not treating the dog also come to mind.

    sharkey,

This PA law is just like the "reasonable gun control laws" pushed by the FAR LEFT, though I understand that you would like to confine it to pets. = "the camel's nose under the tent".

IF the good voters of PA don't DEMAND that the law is repealed, other MORE INTRUSIVE laws WILL be passed to " placate" the "NUTS" of PETA & "the animal rights" lunatics.
(Already, PETA is complaining about the NYPD using horses for "mounted police patrol", as the NUTS claim that horses "should not be required to do work for humans". Also, the spokeswoman for "the anmal rights" extremists tried to stop the US Army from destroying a "colony of smallpox specimums" (SIC), as "Smallpox has as much right to live, as people do".)

NEVER GIVE an inch to the MORON LEFT, if your LIBERTY is important to you/the USA, is my sincere advice

I note that you did NOT define the term, "unethical treatment of animals", either..

Pretty sure I did but whatever. You seem to like to go off topic. First you speak of animal rights because someone mentioned it and now you rail against PETA simply because I mentioned them too. The OP post a story about neither.

    sharkey,

PLEASE just STOP trying to "change the subject" away from the fact that you gave me NO definition of "unethical treatment of animals". = Neither the other members nor I am fooled by your tactic.
(I read Saul Alinsky's book, too.)
