Zoom meeting virgin here, anything special I need to know for Win 10 setup?

I need to setup my laptop running Win 10 Home, any pitfalls or slick tricks you can help me with?

It's pretty straightforward. Test your camera/microphone before you try to use it the first time.

Minus Zoom, I tested the camera today and it was fine but I didn't even think about a mic. Tks.

If there's any problem, I think Zoom will let dial in on your phone for audio while using the camera on your computer.

It'll ask if you want to use your computer audio. Just say yes and you're set. You'll start the mtg with your audio on and your video off. Click video on if you want. Easy peezy. Might want to go into settings and either blur or change your background. I changed mine to my company logo.

Theres‘s something in the settings that allow you to test your cam/mic/speaker…at least there was a few years ago.

My current employer uses WebEx and my clients use Teams, so I haven’t used Zoom in a while.
