My white privilege education came from my grandfather, my father and my uncles telling me get my ass out and work for the things I needed or wanted!

Everything I have, is because I went out and worked for it. No one ever gave me a damn thing in life, just like my ancestors. They worked their asses off to get ahead.

So, I'm not likely to have a lot of sympathy for so-call slavery reparations or more welfare, coming out of my tax dollars.

The Declaration of Independence stated:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,[8] that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. The declaration was made to create equal rights for every person and if it was intended for only a certain section of people, they would have left it as "rights of Englishmen".

Clearly stated means, all people are equal, and are afforded the same opportunities for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. At no point is that a guarantee that we all will achieve that.

It was for myself though. Nobody was cracking a whip at my back (although my wife was somewhat insistent)


Taxation is not slavery. Theft maybe, depending on your views. But not slavery.

I believe we had better communicate with our representatives in the senate and the house in our state and federal governments that we know what their agenda is and we will not tolerate it. A sensible argument with the Dems is out of the question because absolute control is their goal.

I don't have an answer to that question but I can tell you this: Should someone come up with the answer and the majority of citizens buy into it what follows will not be pretty but it will be sure and swift. There is a lot of pent up anger/frustration being contained at this moment but that may not always be the case.

Simple. Look for solutions to combat the issues and problems. There are a few that preach the doom and gloom, the sky is falling and bitch and moan about all the problems our country is facing.\, them post them here every day to rile people up. They are simply preaching to the choir. They never have solutions or ideas, or suggestions. So what does that tell you? For me it's rather simple. That it's much easier to complain, than to spend the time and effort to come up with solutions.

I write to my Congressman and Senators all the time. Letting them know that I will not put up with anymore laws on firearms, that breaking the filibuster had better not happen, that HR1 is not acceptable and the integrity of our vote has been undermined by the Democrat party and they had better start getting all of the other members of the Republican party to fight back.
