When Fedcoin come along your BitCoin won’t exist.

The only way I can see that happening - is if the Feds, through 'regulations', force retailers to accept only FedCoin (CBDC) for digital payment.

Logic says yes, as the dollar supply increases it would be.. but when/if the dollar becomes next to worthless, and no more bitcoin is being mined, will it still be accepted/converted into values re Yuan. You know what I mean. And then there's CBDC, FedCoin, and it's management/control... so many unknowns.

Converting Dollars to Bitcoins, or Bitcoins to Yuan, Pesos, Rubles, Dollars, or some other digital currency only takes a few seconds. FedCoin will be instantly convertable to Bitcoin the same way.

I don't let my Bitcoins touch any mobile "app" for tax reasons because doing so proves to the I.R.S. I own them, but people who do this on their phones tell me it's as fast as Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, MasterCard, etc.

You really think the Feds would let that ^^ happen? If they did, the whole point of CBDC (control) is gone. What am I missing?

Doesn't matter if the 'app' is mobile or desk... what (non-visible to the Feds) method would you use to convert..say... monthly SocSec funds delivered in FedCoin? Asking for a friend. :)

It does matter. Mobile operating systems like Apple and Android are almost impossible to make secure or private.

I use Debian Linux for my computer operating system and Mullvad VPN to keep my financial transactions private and secure.

Un-taxable Bitcoin for Retirement Savings can be purchased on https://bisq.network.

A much easier way (but with higher fees) is to buy non-anonymous Bitcoin on https://river.com, then convert it to anonymous using swap sites like https://trocador.app

Swapping websites like Trocador are how FedCoins will eventually be converted back-and-forth from/to Bitcoin.

Straight Debian, interesting. You aren't THAT interested in security or you'd be using KALI, but as a Linux user myself I get it.

I feel like the less "stuff" a computer has on it, the less likely seedword-stealing malware can sneak in.

I tried Kali, but it had a mountain of penetration testing and networking software from anonymous, small-shop Developers pre-installed.

I only touch my most precious wallets with a bare-bones Debian. Nothing on it but essentials. No email, no browser, no utilities, only Electrum, BTC Core, and Monero Core.

    Slackware FTW!!! :D
Actually I've been digging elementary's distro as of late...
And it appears Pear Linux OS is being revisited, in new revs on YouTube...

I wonder if their biggest CASH CROPPERS such as drug dealers and pimps, voting for Demonrats their whole lives based on identity politics can live off dealing drugs and pimping under this new electric fiat?

I suspect some of even them might open their eyes...?

Most people don't know that we specifically and purposefully designed Bitcoin to kill and eat the entire global financial system. :)

Theyd have to buy most of it but they could probably do it but they would have to dump about 5 to 8% of their entire asset portfolio to do it.

They only need about 5% to manipulate BTC.

This is how Blackrock and Vanguard force big corporations to do the unprofitable "woke" stuff, by owning just a 5% stake in all of them.

Remember that the U.S. Federal Government is the largest single holder of Bitcoin.

They will work together with the Banksters to drive BTC up/down as needed.

When Normies finally snap to which way things are headed, we will be flooded with a tsunami of retardation, scammery, and regulations.

The time to harden your Self-Custody set-up in preparation for what's coming is NOW.

It seems like credit unions haven't been signing up to onboard FedNow℠ as much as the Fed would like. I've noticed most "articles" about FedNow℠ the past few weeks have been trying to convince credit unions to sign up.

    For example:

Their newest advertisement features a credit union, too.

Oh, and FedNow℠ absolutely, definitely isn't a step towards a CBDC despite it being a retail/consumer product. The Fed says so.
