It's what unions have been allowed to become by mostly Dem run states that turned them into a bloated quasi organized crime run syndicate.

As soon as they grow beyond caring about working conditions and local pay They become microcosms of socialism corruption and forced membership where if you have independent thought you are in trouble.

If I owned a company I would feel the same as walmart and would not do buisness in non right to work states. The right to work without forced union membership seems a wholly American concept while forced membership seems like a nazi or communist concept.

This partnership between unions and democratic run states is an unholy alliance. The cost of living is directly affected by the costs of union dues. Some of the unions collect ungodly amounts in dues from their members. Part of this goes to governments thru labor support, i.e. strongly suggested voting choices, during elections and donations during campaigns.

If interested look at what an apprentice anything makes in NYC. Look how much is dues and taxes.

I don’t think a union should pay folks not to work.

I see skilled trade unions as guild where folks with similar expertise look out for one another.

    Just my opinion, YMMV

iIRC there was a store here in texas the surprised everyone by shutting it down and claiming plumbing problems and LE concerns. You dont close a whole store and strip it bare for plumbing problems and you certainly dont reopen and hire all new staff 6 months later without so much as one plumbers ars crack stepping foot into the store in the meantime.

That would be in Midland. They shut down the bigger of the 2 stores in that city for plumbing issues. Took about a year to re-open it.

When unions became more self interested and less interested in those they are supposed to represent, they became obsolete. I have belonged to three different unions and the Teamsters were the worst. It was a joke to think you can raise an issue when they had their plants in the crowd to first and second a proposal brought by those who were paid far too much at members expense.

To me why 30.06 doesn't make sense. Someone with criminal intent will not follow the rules, as proven. Why disarm the law abiding and create soft targets for mass shooters to have no challenge.

El Paso Walmart and this Odessa shooting were not 30.06 restricted events, though I am still no certain that Odessa was a mass shooting so much as a spree shooting (victims shot in many different locations during a single event with no cooling off period). Maybe somebody can find a map to show the locations where people were shot and how many at each location? I have looked, but haven't found one.

Be that as it may, public mass shootings are exceptionally rare events in the grand scheme, which pro-gun groups will tell you in response to guns being blamed. You are much more likely to be struck by lightning a couple of different times than to be injured in a public mass shooting. That likelihood of being in a public mass shooting drops even lower when you factor out the ones where concealed carry is not restricted.

I didn't bring up unions to discuss unions. I wanted them to ruin wallyworld, you know a giant dirty trick to pay them back for Socialist anti customer policies.
It's not like we can put a burning bag of poop on their doorstep, ring the doorbell and run. Cause I'm too old to run away. (the suspect was arrested still in the parking lot power walking with his Hurri-cane. ;)
We need to come up with something that sends a message that even in Arkansas they will get. Boycotts are fine buy face it sheeple are lazy and cheap. They will still go.
SGA is the only ammo game in town for Crosby. Losing ammo access will hurt, and wallyworld has proved they don't care at all.

Look, I'm all for protesting with your money. I rarely shop at Wally world. I used to catch thieves there as a second job and the wife was a store manager there. It's not a bad place to work if you work but they dont put up with bs. They are big enough to do some crappy things to employees. Some caused by the living wage BS and some just because there are ars holes in certain spaces.

Again I spend more at other places especially for groceries cause I kn ok w they are so big some very important rules on food handling are not always followed and paper work is pencile whipped. Add to that the piss poor training food workers have and we go elsewhere. My daughter works there while in college and I long as you work and aren't a cashier you will always find a job there.

The boycott every person place and thing who does stuff you may not like will not end well. Especially political wise. I'm all for primary challenges but if we arent carefully were going to phuck ourselves. Allowing the left to win because we become one issue voters means we loose. We are then raggedy arsed naked hungry and making big rocks into little ones.

Your principals wont keep you warm in a gulag. And you cant work to change things from there either.

Marxists love to drive wedges into groups. They are good at it and win because of it.

    Be smart. Think.

Dont attack me I'm not the enemy. I have a hard time voting for people like Trump. Hes a Buffoon and not a conservative, I told everyone who will listen and got sheit all over for it.

I, however, have no compunctions for voting against the worst possible outcome.

Long ball people. Fight these bastards all you want make your displeasure known. Primary them but when the time comes...

Long ball, the lefts been playing it since the 50s. If they didnt always overplay their hand they might have won by now. They are in full on Marxist mode and were helping them do it. Divide, separate, pit groups against each other and create problems that only they can fix.

They wont take your guns unless you give them to the bastards. You get the government you deserve.

    And how.

I worked a stint as a Teamster. What an awful place. I couldn't hack it as any initiative to actually work at all was quickly torn down by my fellow members.

I lost track of the number of times I heard "Stop. That ain't your job and you're making the rest of us look bad."

Sorry, I don't like sitting around doing nothing.

Wallyworld employees already have the attitudes expressed in your post. The teamsters would be perfect to bring forward the "not my job" work ethic. It could cause a resurgence of K Mart stores. We all miss Blue Light Specials.
