What is your carry gun?

I keep a P239 or the SR1911 CMD if I carry when I'm fishing. Might look into a 357 Redhawk later on to be the primary carry on fishing trips.

Depends on locale & my planned activities.

I love holsters and have many.

Hunting, usually a .45 GLOCK, Kimber, or Taurus IWB or shoulder rig.

Around home 9mm GLOCKS, or .38/.357 revolvers.

Special occasoons; J-frames or a .380.

For travel, we have standardized to GLOCK 9mm 15 round mags; so iit’s G19’s, G26’s, =/- a Ruger PCC.

If going to New Orleans, we’d need a Bradley or HumVee. . . . . . . .

I would be comfortable saying the P365 set the bar for CC. Small, compact with the option of 10/12/15 round mag. For the size, capacity accuracy and dependability, they are hard to beat.

What I tell all new to ‘CC” is this: “The very best gun for you would be the one which is MOST LIKELY TO BE THERE WHEN NEEDED !

A small gun on one’s person is much better than any big gun that is left home.

Same with “I’ll carry only when I think I’ll need it”.

Or, its first-cousins, “Purse Carry” & “Car Carry” !
