Mercedes ML 350 (wife unit)
She was out of town so I took a trash can and emptied out the SUV of all the crap. I usually refuse to sit in her car since it's a rolling trash bin. Took it down to the $5 car wash to wash and use their vacuum to hit the rugs. Windows cleaned and plastics wiped down. Cleans up nice, but 5 days later is trashed again.

It's a losing battle. Married almost 40 years and the wife's vehicle has always been a trashcan. If we go somewhere in mine, I have to pickup her trash after we're done. I choose my battles carefully and this isn't one I'm willing to die on.

Pulling a wheel and tire. The right rear is so dry-rotted its crunchy. It made it home towning it slow, but I found a tire that will fit in the trash last week so pulling the old one and installing the "new" one.

Have you ever considered a different tire supplier?

Washed the Mustang and covered it with plastic so when the looky loos come they can see it without sawdust all over it and cobwebs underneath.

Do oil change, repair shops and auto parts stores get paid when used oil is picked up or is it an expense?

If paid, why do they limit how much, within reason, you bring in?

Northern states gladly take all you have as oil fired burners link are used to heat shops, demand is lower in southern states, I'd imagine.

Replaced the 2 year old 3 year warranty battery in the Old car and today my 7 1/2 year old 5 year warranty battery in my truck died.
Imagine owning a POS EV when things go bad and they will.

It'll tow. Spent about 6 hours today heading west. Into a 17 mph headwind.
Fuel mileage sucked but it went as fast as I wanted to and tracked true in the occasional crosswinds.View attachment 469767

Hauled 1 bull to the butcher, he kept escaping and was becoming a problem. Brought home a new angus heifer.
