Rescued this from an LGS today

I like those on bolt guns.

I may eventually get a ACOG, but it will have to be next year.

I will be putting my aimpoint CCO on my shorty build.

Also, that bushnell scope has BDC and illuminated reticle, it’s so far worked well on my shorty, I expect it to do well on the 20 inch colt made barrel.

Or I may just sell the shorty and buy a 16 inch colt M4.

I’ve looked thru a spitfire and I was was impressed with the clarity of it.

More like what guns we didn't buy today...

Stopped into the pawn/lgs today and was about to impulse purchase a CMR-30 for $399. Associate had a hard time finding the box then realizes they but the PMR tag on the CMR. Price bumped up to $500....pass.

While we were waiting, the wife mentions the pink camo and robin egg colored M&P15-22s. Both had wobbly stocks and super crappy safety levers. They had a different version with a much better stock but it was black and the wife said "If we got that color it would be for you, not me"....pass.

Watching reviews online makes me think I might've dodged a bullet on the Kel-Tec.

He may mean M4 SOCOM profile. Same 14.5 length but has a heavy profile under the hand guards. Accuracy was reported to be better with that as it dealt with heat better.

Was planning on waiting until I got a couple of the rifles sitting in my safe, gathering dust, sold, but said to heck with waiting, and ordered a Christiansen Arms MPR in .308. It has a 16” carbon wrapped barrel and folding stock. Gonna be great for hunting suppressed. Was deciding on a scope for it, and saw Midway had a Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25 FFP marked down to $650, and grabbed it. Then this morning I got an email from Battlehawk Armory that they had the Garmin Xero chrono on sale for $499, just had to request pricing through an email. So basically blew about $4K in the last 12 hours!
