Had been watching this rifle on Gunbroker:

Ruger Precision 6mm Creedmore. They dropped the price to $799.99, so I couldn't resist. Paid for it this morning, now the wait.

I'm already excited about my next gun. I'll be making my first payment on it this Friday. But, it's going to be quite a while before I finish paying for it and get to bring it home. It's a S&W 5906.
I used to have one of those, and a 4506. I regret selling them.

    Good news.
Added the .22short case into the link hole on the follower.
Had a chance to fire the mag today.
    Worked perfectly.
Fired five full mags of CCI mini-mag and standard velocity ammo. Ran perfectly.
One mag slow fire. Worked perfectly.
This was a mag about 10yrs old that had previously not worked worth a flip.
    Quite simple to do.

The S&W 5906 is great. Can't beat an all steel gun that is well designed like that one is. I liked it so much I got one with the fixed novak sights, then one with the adjustable rear sight, and recently the TSW version. I am sure you will enjoy it once you get it.

SIG MCX last week impulse buy.
    300BLK
Was pretty much 100% for a good price.
Fantastically quiet with that Crux can I had underutilized.

What really made the deal was what I spied in a display case on the other side of the shop!
There lay a SIG MCX 5.56 16" barrel assembly ($600 retail) for $225.
I really did not need another 5.56 but, then, I really did not need another Blackout!

The Crux Saxon and Steiner 1-4x and A.R.M.S. quick release and Grip-pod I had on a shelf already gathering dust.

    Tip for MPX owners.
The adjustable piston driven gas block piston has 2 positions, normal and less-gas for suppressors.
If you set it in the (secret non-existent) middle position between the detents the gas is cut off altogether. Then cycle it manually like a bolt action and it becomes super-double-secret quiet!!!

    New toy.
    I timed myself.
2 minutes 50 seconds to trade 300BLK barrel for the 5.56 barrel, torqued to the proper 60 inch-pounds with my F.A.T. wrench !!
Barrel change takes 27-Torx BTW, an offbeat size.

    Highly recommended.

Obviously never been around a Harley. T-27 is in several places.
