New press, Lee Breech lock Pro. For a cheap press it works.First press, new press, upgraded press? Just don’t tell me a Dillon press!
I used to think that until I tried the 550. Now I really like it and wouldn’t have it any other way.I won a Dillon 550 on Friday but traded it for a credit. Not wild about a manually indexing progressive press...

Got 20 done then the drive hub nub sheared off. Flipping hornady. I googled it and several were able to get 20-50 rounds loaded before the new one sheared!
I'll call hornady tomorrow and get another sent out but if they give me too much crap I'll tell them what I think of them and their weak products and non-existant customer service. Hell, RCBS has fixed three sizing dies I've stuck cases in and the dollars spent on RCBS products is nothing compared to hornady dollars!
So, currently I have 15 rounds that dropin/out of my g17 barrel and 25 that drop in/out of my LWD barrel!

Well shit. Maybe I screwed up. A good friend of mine said the 650 and 1050 were where it's at. He says he doesn't like the 750 or 1100s.My two shooting buddies both have a 650 & 550 and both say they will each buy another 550.
I whacked about 5 more with the new collets and decided eff that. I'm gonna set these culls aside and order a collet puller soon. I've been using a gas rebate app and Just ordered some night sites for my wife's pistol. Once I have enough saved up again I'll order the puller and the collet.Have you considered a press mounted collet puller or is that what you are using?
You should be closer to 4.0gr if it had a normal bearing surface for a 9mm bullet. I'm not familiar with that bullet.
Get a case puller kit and use more lube when you are sizing!
