Get some brass pipe screens. Now put a patch on a jag and the pipe screen on top of that. The combo removes lead from a barrel real quick.
Or you can use a 50/50 combo of H2O2 and acetic acid. The dip cleans out lead RFN, however the liquid is somewhat toxic after it's used so take the appropriate precautions.
I know it’s been recommended to run even new brass through the resizing die before loading them but I got to excited looking at all my reloading stuff so I used the hand priming tool on two new shell. I’m ok now. I can wait for the shell holders to get here. And yes it was pretty cool to put a primer in a shell

Expect your neck tension to be on the tight side for the first loading. Just keep that in mind while developing a load.

New brass needs to be worked a little. Also they can be dinged up like @Deavis mentioned. Will the chamfer tool help with this at all on new brass? Or is that just the way it is

Congrats unicom. We’ve all been there; some more recently than others!
BTW it's not the end of the world. Just starting out like you are you won't notice the difference. Just keep it in mind next time. Will the chamfer tool help with this at all on new brass? Or is that just the way it is

I was too shy to ask questions. Deavos really taught me a lot. That guy knows his shit!Congrats unicom. We’ve all been there; some more recently than others!
You can deprime the live primers. Some people say that's a no-no but I've done it a couple hundred times. Just go slow when you do it.Thanks. I figured I was ok if that ruined two shells and primers I had to try part of the kit.

Unicom what cal are you reloading for? Yes, sizing first is best and chamfer the inside of the neck helps. never seen a primer-only shell holder from Lee.
Yes. Bottom picture is the one for the press.Theses are basically the shell holders that came with my kit

These I’m guessing are the ones I need for the press itself
