Loaded some 6x45 for a night shoot at the range later. I'm going to see how well I can do on the long range.

Say, what do you sell drums for? I might know a guy.I'll sell you a drum or two for a good price...
I know it was mentioned in the other thread, but I highly recommend you get the Lee Reloading Manual and read the first part before you get started. Lots of useful information in there.
Google "modern reloading PDF" and you can download it free.I will do that.

Tweeked my back Friday so my wife out me on light duty. I separated a small box of brass from my last range trip. Started cleaning brass as well. Also looking up load data for 45gap. Looks like the 230s I use won't work for that so gonna have to get some new bullets. Waiting to hear back from a friend with the quickload software to see what will work with the powders I have on had.

I think I'm gonna go with a 185. I've always wanted to try some in the acp anyway. I was hoping to get data for the lovex powder I have but haven't heard back about the quickload data yet. I'm thinking a quicker powder would be better though for a shorter barrel. I've got a half keg of red dot laying around still as well as some 231. I'll half to go back and look at data for the 185 and see if they'll do what I want them to do. I've heard red dot was the bee's knees for 45acp.True Blue in GAP is awesome but you can load it with titegeoup or power pistol as well. I loaded 230s, I'd have to look up my data but you can easily get 800FPS within that pressure envelope. I bet CFE pistol would do well also as a medium speed powder but it wasn't out when I loaded GAP.
I picked up a pound of Lil Gun and a pound of CFE Black.
I'm going to start reloading .300 blackout soon since I've got a pistol upper on the way.
Just need to find some damn brass.
Scrub and clean it like normal. If it's lead it will still be there.View attachment 200230 Could this be Alox instead of lead?
