50 rounds of .357 mag, 150 rounds of .45 ACP, 107 rounds of cowboy load .38's. Damn hurricane rains are making me run out of bullets. My ammo shelf is looking respectable though.

Rainy days are for reloading instead of shooting!!!!!
We got the rains for the past few days and I just loaded a bunch of Starline .45 Colt with Penn 200gr LRNFP for my New Vaqueros.

Pretty soon it will be RAINY and COLD so the lead pot gets fired up for casting in the shop!!!

Well. I loaded up some 6.5 jap rounds last night with 120gr a-max bullets and 36 grains of h335.

Today I brought them out and tested them in 2 rifles. I got a lot of flat primers. I shot them anyways though because I know the jap action is super strong. One case cracked about 1cm from the bolt face. Another one looks cracked but when I tried to pry with it (to see if the crack would open up or not) it didn't really open. I'm not going to use it though.

Going to reload my brass tonight and download about 1.5-2 grains. I'm OK dropping to 34 grains and loosing velocity if it means.my brass will last longer... This stuff isn't easy to find it cheap!

Picked up a set of dies for the 300 win mag, looked for some Ramshot Hunter so I can try some loads with it. Sat on the porch watching the rain while sorting brass.

Been trying to find time to get my press up and running again....it's at my parents house and the garage is a disaster!

School is almost done, that'll free up my time a whole bunch!

    Gunz are icky.
Loaded a few blackpowder shotgun rounds for test purposes.
Built a few simple tools for loading the all brass hulls.
Bought a bag of lead shot.
If the test rounds work out for alright then can proceed to load up more.

I loaded up some .308 work up loads using IMR 4895 and Varget (25 each) under a 150 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip. I need a good deer load.

I loaded up a few 6.5 japs last night. I had flat primers with my last load so I'm gonna try a lighter load with a few different seating depths to see what works out the best.

Saturday I took the japs out to lonestar. I was able to whack the 300 yard metal a few times with the t38

I processed 200 308 LC used military brass today, decapped, tumbled, sized, trimmed, swaged, washed, and primed for future reloading. Rainey and range was too wet anyway. It was either that or paint a bathroom.
