Is there an appeal? Is there a stay on the decision? The decision doesn't have to be appealed, does it? I thought this decision would make it law for the 5th Circuit, unless there is a stay pending appeal, which would require an appeal...

What do I know about law... I'm just glad my parents were vertebrates...
I believe the 6th and the 5th circuits are at a disagreement, which would mean the supreme would have to rule on it.

Yes, I did some searching to see if I remembered correctly, and the 6th circuit did uphold the Bumpstock ban by a 8-8 vote.
It now has to go to the SC to grant certiorari. At least 4 members of the SC must vote to accept the case to grant certiorari.

    OK, that makes sense...

Sure hope the courts do the same with the atf’s pistol brace policy change.
We'll probably have to register/destroy them, or be criminal while we wait for that decision in our favor, just like for bumpstocks.

I don't know. The way the ATF is losing lately a stay on thr rule might be granted.

    Still waiting for the rule.

Has the NRA tried to take credit for this victory?

    Just a question:

Do “bump stocks” actually have some military use?

Have bump stocks been used in significant crimes ?

Is all this just theatrics ?

    Please tell us. . . . .

In which they showed their uselessness and a force multiplier along with the 60 round surefire mags.

A whole shit pile of the laid out jammed and useless.

To be honest he could have probably got some of them back in section if he had a clue.

NRA is trying to horn in on this.
Talked to Mike this morning after reading the nra tweet and he said that the only thing the nra did was file an Amicus Brief in the closing days of the case.

When he reached out to them they would not help before or during the case.

Mike did this on his own, for us.

I highly recommend anyone in the Austin area to use Central Texas Gun Works for your FFL transfer, new gun purchase, LTC class, security license renewal, or beginner fire arms class.
