That's cheating. I have the Wheeler also, never thought it was this popular.I just borrow a Snap-On 1/4" drive torque wrench from work.

Read my post. I didn't say it as better, I said it was more expensive.Ok, I’ll bite. What makes that one so much better?
That looks like a nice tool. For smaller diam fasteners it's not a bad choice. Torque under a size 12 screw should be on spec. For fasteners that have a .160 thou shaft I can sleep at night being 1 to 2 inch lbs high. It's the smaller screws that vortex would come in handy. I think I will order one.Comparing the Wheeler FAT to the Vortex:

Didn't even know that existed. Seems nice.Comparing the Wheeler FAT to the Vortex:

I like the Wheeler case better, and for as little I use it, it seems that it would be easier to find.Didn't even know that existed. Seems nice.
Just a WAG, but I suppose it is because Midway charges more....why is this Amazon FAT Wrench ad just barely more than half of what it costs at Midway??
I bought mine from Amazon. Amazon probably buys more bulk, therefore lower prices. If it seems too good to be true...
