I don’t need one. I have a Troy Defense AR-15. I have an AR-10 in .308 with a second upper in 6.5 CM. I have bolt action rifles in .308 and .30-06.

If I buy one, that is another caliber of ammo I need to stock.

I still want one.

Please talk me out of it.

I have had many AK 47 74 AKM and a Tiger Dragunov ...the only one worth shooting was the Drag
If you enjoy hitting targets buy a FN FAL/L1A1 instead. The only positives are history and was a time when there was cheap ammo

Not sure why anybody would think the AK is not very accurate the 2 I have can hit a chicken size target at 100 yards no problem at 200 a body size is no problem. AR does the same but, the AK just has a classic style.

An ak is like any other weapon: some shoot some don’t. Same with an ar.

I can’t count the number of times (no really I’m from Oregon) I was tempted to trade off my ruger mpr. Finally found a load it likes. Nosler match 77 grain hpbt.

Now my stag 15 will shoot 55 grain ball almost as good.

That stag will out shoot any ak.

Everything is expensive, up it if you want it. I think everyone should one. I still prefer my ARs though.

You need one that works, doesn’t have to the most top tier thing out there.

My recommendation, it has the important parts where you need them including CHF barrel. Or you could step up to the version with FN CHF barrel.
