It's my understanding that solvent traps are not illegal unless they can prove intent that they will be used as suppressors, in which case you can file paperwork to make them legal suppressors.
"Without manual reloading..." ....sounds like pretty much every firearm excluding muskets. So, what's up with the new "definition" mentioned in the letter? Y'all notice that?
I don't seem to recall that additional bit in the previous technical [legal] description...
ETA: Looks like that language has been there for a while...Apparently, I need more sleep...
I commonly refer to them as the SS FBI and the KGB DOJ. The CIA gets to be the CCP CIA but the BATF and DEA are so unimportant they don't even rate a special name. I expect a visit any day. LOL!Apparently I am a very popular guy. Ask me anything!
when was this done? was there a letter sent out or something?Recently changed.
Well that stinks to bad they don’t put that much effort into stopping murderous crimes in major city’s.
We’re already past that:One day warrants may not be required.
For the most you are correct. If it crosses state lines or involves kidnapping the FBI can step in. In many cases they may take an advisory or provide information and resources to help the investigation. Not the FBI's job. Interstate crime only. Murder doesn't require their impressive presence.
Considering the BATFE's current myopic focus, their initialism could easily be reduced to BF..., short for Butt F***kers...I commonly refer to them as the SS FBI and the KGB DOJ. The CIA gets to be the CCP CIA but the BATF and DEA are so unimportant they don't even rate a special name. I expect a visit any day. LOL!
No, because a solvent trap is a machinegun.Suppose, just spitballing here, not really planning anything, that I really wanted to trap some solvent.
Maybe the solvents were tearing up my yard and trying to mate with my dog. could I still buy a trap for that? Legally?
Just asking for a person I don't know yet.
The definition of a machine gun, or silencer, includes any combination of parts from which they can be assembled.I'm not sure I could have kept my cool. What the heck is so evil and vile about a solvent trap anyway? I have to admit that I had to look them up. Never even heard the term before, much less saw one. If it don't have a hole drilled in the end, what's wrong with it?
