Rolling Stone "Under My Thumb" was recorded in 1966 for the Aftermath album never made the top 100 in USA. It wasn't released as a single - only an album cut.

Robin Ward, a one hit wonder with "Wonderful Summer" (#14 winter 1963) sang backing vocals (along with Warner Bros Bugs Bunny voice, Mel Blanc) on Pat Boone's "Speedy Gonzales" (#6 summer 1962). She did the "la la la" of a plaintive Mexican maiden.
Mel, of course, did the Speedy G. voice.

For the "love me do" intro, John Lennon used a harmonica he stole from a music store in Sweden.

The ringback tone in the 1976 ELO tune Telephone Line, is a real tone recorded on a call from England to California. The monotone voice however was added later and created in studio.
