    Ok man I'm not sure what a dick measuring debate has to do with anything, but anyways I'm sure the FTW is a top notch product. As mentioned by another guy above suppresor covers are truthfully meant to be used as "mirage" shields for precision shooting anyways and actually trap heat in as you shoot, so having said that I honestly don't recommend running them on carbines all that much.

    I use an oven mitt for that task.
    This. In fact, every time you buy a suppressor through The Silencer Shop, they include just such an oven mitt in the deal. It's got their logo on it.

    Thought I'd revive this thread instead of making a new one.

    I've been looking at some of these biathlons like Battleroadusa and it brought up some interesting questions.

    If you're not at a bench and actually moving/running/climbing/obstacles between shooting stages would a cover keep you from burning the crap out of yourself? Anyone used one in this capacity? Any first hand experience?
